Alongside my graphic design work, I love creating art. I take part in sculpture trails, painting large pieces that bring character and colour to public spaces, encouraging tourism, and raising money for charities.

My paintings often feature negative spaces, giving meaning and drawing attention to what is present by embracing what is absent. I enjoy the balance it creates and the way it can shift a viewer’s perspective.

I create cyanotypes, which are blue-toned prints using natural objects or digital negatives with chemicals exposed to sunlight, often experimenting with printing on to unusual porous surfaces such as teabags.

For me, making art is pure joy. It is how I explore, experiment and spend my time most happily.
